The Regina Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance for information regarding a recent attempted robbery in Regina.
On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, a report was made to police at headquarters front desk reporting an attempted robbery that occurred on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, shortly after noon. A female completed a sizeable cash withdrawal at a bank on the 1900 block of Hamilton Street, and exited. A male then shoved her, and ran off with her bag containing the cash. Another male ran after the man, and successfully wrestled the bag away, returning it to the victim. The suspect male was last seen running northbound down the alley between Hamilton Street and Rose Street. The female sustained minor injuries during this incident.
The suspect is described as male, approximately 5’9” – 5’10” tall, around 200 lbs., with short dark hair, and a round face.
