Request Assistance – Street Robbery
On August 14, 2021 at approximately 2:42 p.m., police were dispatched to the 2100 block of 11th Avenue in regards to a robbery. The female victim in this incident was walking in the 2100 block of 11th Avenue when she was approached by a male on a bicycle who grabbed the victim’s phone out of her hands. When the victim tried to stop the suspect from getting away, he pulled out a knife and threatened her. He then fled the area.
The suspect was described as an Indigenous male in his late 20’s, with a thin build, wearing a dark grey hoodie, blue jeans, a black ball cap, with a black bandanna over his face, riding a red bicycle.
The weapon was described as a red handled Bowie knife with a curved blade.
