A 24 year-old male is facing charges as the result of an investigation into a weekend Break and Enter.
On Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 4:50 in the morning, police received a report from a resident in the 3500 block of Albert Street. The caller reported his garage door was open and an alarm had sounded. The resident saw a suspect male walk by the garage window, but the suspect ran away when confronted by the resident. Police set up a perimeter and located a male matching the suspect’s description, riding a bicycle. The suspect abandoned the bicycle and several items he was carrying. Police arrested him a few blocks away.
Twenty-four year-old Natrone Marian MORAN, of Regina, is charged with:
- Break, Enter and Commit an Indictable Offence, s. 348(1)(b) CC;
- Possession of Break-In Instruments, s. 351(1) CC; and
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon, s. 91(2) CC.
MORAN made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021.
