The Regina Police Service, working in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, has now confirmed that the death of an adult male, whose body was discovered on Sunday, November 14th, is considered a homicide case. This is the 13th homicide in Regina in 2021.
The deceased person has been identified and his next-of-kin have been notified of his death. The deceased male is 29 year-old Ahi S. EBROTIE, of Regina.
On Sunday, November 14, 2021, just before 6:00 a.m., patrol members were dispatched to the 2100 block of Heseltine Road for a report of a death. Officers arrived, and located the body of an adult male, who was confirmed deceased. The officers secured the scene and requested a Coroner as well as additional police resources. The Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation, which is now being treated as a homicide investigation. There are no further details for release at this time.
