An adult male, of Regina, is facing two charges of assault in which the victims are adult females. It’s alleged the assaults occurred within the same incident on December 11, 2021.
The alleged assaults were reported to police just before 6:00 p.m. on December 11, 2021. A 49 year-old female (Victim #1) told police she had entered into a romantic relationship with an adult male she had met some months before, online. At approximately 3:30 p.m. on December 11th, the woman went to speak with the male to tell him that she was breaking off the romantic relationship with him. Another adult female (Victim #2) accompanied the 49 year-old for support. It’s alleged the male became angry, confrontational, and charged at the two women twice, striking each one with a forceful “chest bump”. Police investigation into this incident indicated the male was the subject of a Conditional Sentence Order, requiring that he “keep the peace and be of good behavior”. Further investigation led to the arrest of a 44 year-old Regina male who was subsequently charged.
Forty-four year-old Shane Bradley Donald DAYMAN, who also goes by the name of Shane BRODY, of Regina, is charged with:
- Assault (Victim #1), s. 266 CC; and
