On Sunday, February 6, 2022, at approximately 3:05 a.m., police observed a vehicle reported as
Stolen earlier in the evening. The suspect vehicle was westbound on 19th Avenue and Edgar Street when a tire deflation device was successfully deployed by police. The vehicle came to a stop at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Winnipeg Street. Two occupants were arrested from the vehicle without incident.
Twenty-two year-old Joshua Jeremiah NIPPI, of Regina, is charged with:
- Theft of Motor Vehicle [CC 333.1(1)]
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 [CC 355(B)]
Twenty-nine year-old Sheena ROULETTE, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 [CC 355(B)]
Both accused will both make their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on Monday February 7, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.
