The Regina Police Service is seeking information from the public that could assist in an investigation into a recent attempted robbery.
On Friday, April 8, 2022, at approximately 1:30 p.m., police were dispatched to a business on the 900 block of Victoria Avenue for a report of an attempted robbery.
When officers arrived they found a victim who had appeared to have just been sprayed with bear mace.
The victim told police he was exiting the business when he was approached by two male youths on bikes who had been stopped outside the business. The two suspects threatened to take the victims belongings. When the victim attempted to walk away, one of the suspects discharged a can of bear spray at the victim before both suspects fled from the scene, headed east on Victoria Avenue
