A male and female face Break and Enter charges after an arrest on Friday morning.
On Friday July 1, 2022, at approximately 2:00 a.m., police were dispatched to the 3700 Block of Eastgate Drive East for a report of a break and enter to a business. Police received information that a male and female were attempting to break into a business.
Police attended to the area, including a Police Service Dog. A male and female matching the description of the suspects provided were seen riding bikes away from the business. The female was arrested without incident, the male attempted to flee on his bike and was apprehended by the Police Service Dog.
After both suspects were in custody, the male was treated at the scene by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for minor injuries from the dog bite and was cleared.
Twenty-seven year-old David Terrance DINARDO, of Regina, is charged with:
- Break & Enter With Intent 348(1)(A)]; and
- Possession of Break-In Instruments [CC 351(1)]
Thirty-nine year-old Fealding MAXWELL, of Regina, is charged with:
- Break & Enter With Intent [CC 348(1)(A)];
- Fail to Comply With Condition of a Release Order [CC 145(5)(A)].
The accused will make their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court, on Monday,
August 22, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.
