The Regina Police Service is asking for help from the public in solving a number of Mischief/Property Damage incidents in the Whitmore Park and Hillsdale neighbourhoods of Regina.
Since July 29, 2022, the Regina Police Service has received over 20 reports of property damage to windows of vehicles and homes. Each of these incidents are under investigation, although it is still too early to say that all of the files are linked. Police believe at least seven of the incidents are related and may be the work of the same person or persons. In these cases, it appears the damage has been caused by BB guns or similar device, capable of firing a projectile. Investigators are canvassing the affected areas looking for any video that may show suspects and lead to identification of the culprits.
Anyone who is a victim of this type of mischief is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500. Your call will be transferred to our Direct Entry Victim Reporting (DEVR) call-takers, where you can make your report over the phone. Please do not use e-mail or social media to try to make a police report; we cannot take incident reports this way or assign them for investigation.
