The Regina Police Service, along with the Coroner’s Service, began investigation into a death of a male involved in a motor vehicle incident.
On Friday, November 4, 2022, at approximately 11:20 a.m., police were dispatched to the area of the 1200 block of North Albert Street (just north of the Highway 11 entrance) for the report of a male driver in medical distress. Shortly after, police were also notified by a driver that came across the incident that a vehicle had left the road and struck a tree.
Police and EMS arrived and the driver, a 59 year-old male, was pronounced dead on scene by EMS. Next of kin have been made aware.
At this early stage of investigation, police members are working with the coroner on understanding the nature of this death, which is not believed to be criminal at this time.
