The Regina Police Service in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service has concluded that the death of a 38 year-old Regina male, which was the subject of a previous news release, is not a criminal case.
On Friday, April 21, 2023, at approximately 1:30 a.m., police were dispatched to the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Elphinstone Street in Regina, for a report of a deceased male. The subsequent death investigation, including an autopsy authorized by the Coroner, has concluded that the death is non-criminal in nature. The Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service is continuing the investigation, assisted by Regina Police Service.
The name of the deceased person will not be released by the Regina Police Service.
