On April 19, at approximately 3:45 a.m., police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Rupert Street for the report of a robbery. Information received was that a male taxi-cab driver was injured in the robbery attempt.
Police and EMS arrived and attended to the victim, who was taken to RGH for non-life-threatening injury. Police learned that a taxi-cab driver had driven a male and female to their destination, when the male passenger put a knife to the throat of a taxi-cab driver. The female got out of the vehicle and demanded money. The driver grabbed the knife and drove away, and the male passenger jumped from the cab.
Investigation led to the identities of the suspects. The female was located and arrested for robbery on Friday, April 28, 2023, at approximately 7:15 p.m.
Twenty-eight year-old Christina HUNTINGHAWK, of Regina is charged with Robbery [CC 344(1)].
HUNTINGHAWK was released on a Form 10 undertaking to appear in court on June 7, 2023.
On April 30th, 2023, an arrest warrant was issued for 22 year-old Tyrese PRATT. PRATT is the subject of an entry on the Regina Police Service Wanted Page.
