On Thursday, June 15, 2023, at approximately 4:30 a.m., police were dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a cyclist and a vehicle in the 1000 block of Robinson Street. When officers arrived, they located a male victim walking down the street who said his car had been stolen. Information provided to police stated that a suspect male had threatened the victim, entered the victim’s vehicle, drove away and struck a cyclist. The cyclist was no longer present on scene when police and EMS arrived and attempts to locate the victim were not successful.
Patrol officers located the suspect male and he was arrested by police inside a residence on the 1000 block of Robinson Street. Police also located the stolen vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Robinson Street. As a result:
Twenty year-old Dreden Cliffton GEORGE, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344 (1)(B)];
GEORGE made his first court appearance on these charges this afternoon (Thursday, June 15, 2023) at 2:00 p.m.
