The Regina Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance following a firearms offence that took place this past Saturday in Regina, where a 25 year-old male was injured.
On October 14, at approximately 10:25 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence on the 1500 block of Elphinstone Street for the report of an injured male. Information received was that a male had sustained a gunshot wound.
Police arrived and located the injured 25 year-old male, and attended to his injury. EMS arrived and the male was transported to hospital, where it was determined that his injury was non-life-threatening. Early reports indicated that a male assailant had fled the scene. A firearm was not recovered.
