On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at approximately 4:00 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence in the 1100 block of Garnet Street for the report of a robbery in progress. Information received was that a male and female threatened the victim with a weapon and stole a bike. The suspects then fled with the victim’s belongings.
A short time later, police located a male and a female who matched the suspect description in the 900 block of Montague Street where they were subsequently arrested. A search of the suspects revealed a collapsible baton.
As a result of this investigation, thirty-four year-old Dwight Charles ASAPACE, of Regina, is charged with:
• Carry Concealed Weapon [CC 90];
• Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)].
Twenty-four year-old Taylor Rae ASAPACE, of Regina, is also charged with:
• Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)];
• Fail to Comply with Prohibition Order [CC 733.1(1)].
The accused made their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 2:30 p.m.
