On Sunday, April 6, 2025, at approximately 2:45 a.m., police were dispatched to a retail business on the 2100 block of Pasqua Street for the report of an armed robbery. Two males had entered the store. One of the males stole merchandise. When staff confronted the male, he revealed a knife. Both males left the store.
The Regina Police Service Aerial Support Unit located the males in the area of Victoria Avenue and King Street, where police on the ground made the arrest. A search of one of the males produced store merchandise and knives. The male was identified and also found to be in breach of conditions of a probation order.
Thirty-five year-old Lyndon May GAMBLER is charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)];
- Carry Concealed Weapon [CC 90]; and
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order [CC 733.1(1)].
GAMBLER made his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court today, Monday, April 7, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.
