Building access for any other purpose, including photography and fingerprinting, must be scheduled in advance and an appointment made with a police member.
The Regina Police Service is committed to following strict health guidelines and cleaning policies that will help to protect both RPS staff and the public.
- Prominent signage will be displayed to ensure proper physical distancing measures and accurately direct the flow of foot traffic to the proper area of the building.
- Plexi-glass dividers have been installed at all counters.
- Anyone entering the building will be required to sanitize their hands. Masks will be available upon request.
- Lines are labeled and colour-coded with blue for front desk, green for criminal record checks, yellow for evidence management, and red for exit. Wait locations are also labeled and colour-coded to ensure physical distancing. As the interior waiting space is limited, line-ups may extend to the exterior of the building.
- Please avoid unnecessary in-person visits. Due to limited room capacity in keeping with Provincial health guidelines, the Regina Police Service is asking the public not to bring family members, friends, or children along when attending to police headquarters, and in not complying, you may forfeit your queue in line or be refused access to the building.
As we re-open our building to the public, we ask those visiting Regina Police HQ to follow outlined directions, be patient with the change in process, and be respectful of the health guidelines outlined.

When you call our Communications Centre, be prepared for a few more questions about travel and the health of the occupants of your home. Your information will help to educate our officers about any potential health-risks they may encounter relating to the virus. When it comes to emergency calls, we will prioritize as usual.
