Members of the Regina Police Service VICE Unit investigate all sex crimes. That includes reports of:

Sexual Assaults

Present and historical

Indecent Acts

Luring, Procuring

Sexual Interference, Touching, and Exploitation

Human Trafficking

Advertising Sexual Services

Sharing of Intimate Images without Consent

The Focus

In carrying out their duties, the VICE unit identifies escorts who advertise sexual services in Regina, monitors online escort service websites, conducts hotel stings and street level “John” stings, and performs many other investigative tasks.

Members of the VICE Unit also monitor the Sex Offender Registry, which includes more than 480 sex offenders who live in the City of Regina. VICE is responsible for ensuring offenders are abiding by the conditions of their release and works closely with other agencies to do so. Members also closely monitor local massage parlors and complete bar inspections in partnership with SLGA.
