The Regina Police Service has now laid charges following the investigation of a vehicle/pedestrian collision that happened November 16th, 2012, resulting in serious injuries to an 18 year-old young man.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., November 16, 2012, police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Lacon Street for a report of an injured male lying in the roadway. Police and EMS found an 18 year-old man who was the victim of an apparent motor vehicle collision; however, the vehicle and driver were no longer at the scene. The man was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious. The victim remains in hospital.
Alyssa COOK, DOB 04/21/90, of Regina, is charged with Hit and Run Causing Bodily Harm, Section 252(1.2).
COOK will make her first appearance in Provincial court on December 20, 2012, at 9:30 am.
