At approximately 3:44 am on February 15, 2016, police members were dispatched to the area of the 3700 block Argyle Road as a resident in that area had observed two individuals dressed in dark clothing enter a neighbor’s vehicle. Patrol members and a Canine unit attended the area and apprehended one male and one female in the 3800 block of Retallack Street. Investigation led to the recovery of numerous stolen items from a number of victim vehicles in the area. While investigating the incident, police found the male to be in possession of firearm.
Nineteen year old Brandon PELLETIER, DOB: 1996/05/09, has been charged with fourteen offences including: Four charges of theft under $5000.00 [CC 334(b)], four charges of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00 [CC 355(b)], two charges of possession a of weapon for a dangerous purpose [CC 88]; two charges of carry concealed weapon [CC 90], possession of a prohibited firearm [CC 95(1)(a)], and breach of probation [CC 733.1(1)]. PELLETIER will be held for Provincial Court on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 9:30am.
Twenty seven year old Ashley McKAY, DOB 1988/02/16 has been charged with 10 offences including: Four charges of theft under $5000.00 [CC 334(b)], four charges of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.00 [CC 355(b)], one charge of carry concealed weapon [CC 90], and breach of recognizance [CC 145(3)]. McKAY will be released on a Justice of the Peace undertaking to appear in court on March 29, 2016 at 9:30am.
