Two adult females and one adult male are facing charges after an incident involving a stolen vehicle just after midnight on Sunday, November 18th.
At approximately 12:33 a.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2018, police located a suspicious vehicle which matched the description of one recently reported stolen. The vehicle had a license plate which was registered to a different vehicle. An unmarked vehicle made the initial observation; shortly after that, the vehicle evaded a marked patrol car. The vehicle was observed to a point where it was northbound on Pinkie Road and then parked. Three individuals ran from the car and were apprehended. One of the three, a 25 year-old female, was identified as a person wanted in connection with an incident of Attempted Murder from August 26, 2018. All three were jointly charged with possession of the stolen vehicle, in addition to other related charges and breaches of court-ordered conditions.
• Twenty-five year-old Chelsey Dawn HUEL, of Regina, is facing a charge of Attempt Murder [239 CC]. In addition, HUEL is charged with 2 x Breach of Undertaking [145(3) CC], and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000. [355(b) CC].
• Twenty-two year-old Anthony Gary MACHISKINIC, of Regina is charged with 2 x Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000. [355(b) CC] and Flight While Pursued by Peace Officer [249.1(1) CC].
• Twenty-three year-old Tia Rae BEAR, of Regina, is charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000. [355(b) CC] and Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC].
HUEL, BEAR and MACHISKINIC all made their first appearances on these charges in Provincial Court on Monday, November 19th at 9:30 a.m.
