Communication is the core of policing. In recognition of the diversity of our community, the Regina Police Service is requesting the assistance of English speakers who are fluent in one or more non-English languages, in order to provide interpretive assistance to ensure individuals are able to communicate with, and fully understand, police communication.
We welcome applicants of all languages to apply. Applicants must have a clear criminal record, and have flexible availability, as interpreters will be contacted on an as-needed basis. A list of particularly needed languages, along with an application form and example police documents, can be found at http://reginapolice.ca/recruit/language-interpreters/.
